Russell and Taylor graciously took the day off from work and led us on an expedition to the fabulous Lemay America's car museum, home to several hundred impeccably restored classic autos. We also toured the University of Washington's impressive Tacoma campus, where Taylor studied. During the course of the morning we recalled our days in Singapore and the delicious food we had there and in Malaysia, which triggered Pavlovian mouth watering for Roti and other Malaysian culinary fare, prompting us to visit a Malaysian restaurant in Belleview, where enjoyed a delicious meal and got our Roti "fix" . Afterwards, we visited Russ's and Tay's lovely new home and were impressed by how quickly they and Andy have renovated it to their liking. A great day!

1942 Chrysler Windsor Highlander

The Chrysler Windsor was a full-sized car built by the Chrysler Corporation of Highland Park, Michigan (USA) from 1939 through to the 1960s. Production temporarily ended in January, 1942 as all automobile companies in the USA switched to war production. The 1942 heralded post-war design, with fenders being better integrated into the overall bodywork.

1960 Corvette

The Chevrolet Corvette is the first generation of the sports car by the Chevrolet division of General Motors introduced late in the 1953 model year and produced through 1962. It is commonly referred to as the "solid-axle" generation, as the independent rear suspension did not appear until the 1963 Sting Ray. Features to appear in 1960 models included tailamps molded into the rear fenders and heavy grill teeth. New features include aluminum radiators, but only with 270 hp and 290 hp engines. Also for the first time, all fuel-injection engines required manual transmissions

Founded in Des Moines, Iowa, United States by brothers August Duesenberg and Frederick Duesenberg, the company's principal place of operations moved to Auburn, Indiana. 1926 Rolls Royce 20/25 Silver Ghost

Henry Royce designed the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to replace his rough-running six-cylinder "Thirty" with something more reliable, smoother and quieter. He succeeded so completely that the new car, introduced at the Olympia Motor Show and later named Silver Ghost, became the longest-running single model next to the Model T Ford.
