The Emily Morgan Hotel (L) and the Alamo (r) (J.M. Nix developed the Medical Arts Building as the first doctors building in San Antonio in 1924. It was designed by Ralph Cameron in the Gothic Revival skyscraper style. In 1984 it was adaptively reused into the Emily Morgan Hotel. It is in the Alamo Plaza Historic District, on the National Register)
