Tualatin Country Club (Tradition is the cornerstone of Tualatin Country Club. Since its inception in 1912, the Club has established a reputation as one of the finest country clubs in Oregon. Located just a few minutes south of Portland, Tualatin Country Club offers a private, picturesque setting while enjoying the convenience of a large metropolitan area. The golf course is a Chandler Egan design, defined by large Douglas Fir trees, tight fairways and small greens.)

One of many gems on the Chandler Egan design (Chandler Egan (August 21, 1884 – April 5, 1936) was an American amateur golfer and golf course architect of the early 20th century. Egan was born in Chicago, Illinois, which at the end of the 19th century was the epicenter of golf in the United States — the first 18-hole golf course in the country, the Chicago Golf Club, in Wheaton, was built there in 1895. Egan played his first game of golf in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin at the age of 12.[4] He attended secondary school at the Rugby School in Kenilworth, and was a star football player on its team. The school did not have a golf team, so Chandler developed his golf game at his father's club, Exmoor Country Club. He was accepted to Harvard University, where he soon became the captain of the college golf team. The team won three team NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships from 1902 to 1904, and Egan won the individual title in 1902.)

Friday afternoon drinks with the family at River's Edge Hotel and Spa on the Willamette River (One of just a few Portland hotels situated on the banks of a tree-lined bend in the Willamette River, the acclaimed waterfront hotel is part of Portland’s South Waterfront District and convenient to the city’s Portland Street Car, Rose Quarter, and downtown. River’s Edge offers a quiet and relaxing location that is convenient to all the attractions of downtown Portland.)

Henry's Tavern-A Portland landmark (The restaurant pays homage to the Blitz-Weinhard Brewery, which brewed beer on site for more than 140 years. Henry's Tavern, which now offers over 100 beers on tap, occupies what was once the brewery's power house. The original brew house is now the dining room and bar area, the Weinhard Brewery smokestack, an iconic element preserved in the development of Henry's, is clearly visible from the courtyard and the lounge and kitchen areas now fill what was once the malt storage building. Today, Henry's combines its rich history with an avant garde approach to beer inspired food and a dedication to local brews, making Henry's a true Portland OR-iginal.)
