After nearly a year of wearing nothing but Army Combat Uniforms Gabe and some of his buddies decided to buy some nice threads. While in Afghanistan they found a London tailor who took online orders for custom suits. Gabe and his fellow troopers sent their measurements to this fellow and he had the suits made in Thailand. They arrived at our home in Cohasset about a week before Gabe's return and, at his request, we took one of the two suits he ordered down to Fort Bragg so he could try them on. Perfect fit! We helped Gabe get set up in his new quarters in the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment Barracks which are nicer than most college dormitories. The next day, we visited the Airborne and Special Operations Museum, which was fascinating. As both a special operations soldier with the 75th Ranger Regiment and a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, this museum was especially relevant in tracing Gabriel's military legacy.
