On a spectacular and cloudless Pacific Northwest early summer day Sarah Ellsworth and Tom Sullivan exchanged marriage vows at Saint Clare Parish Church in Portland, Oregon. The ceremony was expertly officiated by Sarah's uncle, the Reverend Paul Treacy, who travelled from Minnesota's Twin Cities to administer the matrimonial sacrament. A rollicking reception followed on the banks of the Columbia River at the Foundry, a landmark former industrial site that is now a venue for weddings and other festivities. Friends and family came from all points on the compass with Treacy concentrations from the Twin Cities, Ellsworth concentrations from the Pacific Northwest and New England and Sullivan concentrations from Washington. Joy permeated the proceedings from start to finish as great, fun loving families came together to celebrate Sarah's and Tom's nuptials. As one observer aptly noted: "I've been to many weddings, but can't remember one like this where the dance floor erupted in a frenzy on the second dance"
